Schothorst Feed Research conducts small-scale, broiler-related research in small floor pens and metabolic cages and practical-scale research in large floor pens. The facilities are suitable for measuring production results, digestive trials, and infection studies. Broiler research is focused on measuring the effects of feedstuffs, feeding strategies, and additives on production results, digestion, nutritional value, intestinal health, blood parameters, bone quality, gastrointestinal microflora, and other aspects.
