Milestone MySFR achieved

Publication date: 02-03-2020

The online feedstuff matrix MySFR has experienced exponential growth since its introduction, with the milestone of 200.000 calculated feedstuffs now being reached. A great achievement of the only online nutritional database in the world where nutritionists from all over the world can connect their feed optimization software at any desired location and calculate their feeds.

MySFR is an online database of all nutritional values of SFR. This allows users to (re-)calculate the nutritional value of their raw materials, so they can then formulate and optimize their feed composition. To increase user convenience, it is possible to link MySFR to the user's feed optimization system. This ensures that calculations are always made with the most current feed values in which the latest research results have been incorporated.

MySFR was introduced in the summer of 2016 and at the end of 2018 100,000 raw materials had been calculated. Meanwhile, more and more SFR customers know how to find the online database, currently 80% of customers have access. Previously, the nutritional values were shared with the customers through a file system. A large part of the data had to be transferred (manually) into the feed optimization systems of users. The big advantage of MySFR is that users can always work with the most current data, can easily compare data from previous versions and the data is identical for all employees. Due to the rapid digital developments and the importance of accurate and secure data, the file system will no longer be offered as per 2021 and will be fully transferred to MySFR.

Do you want to know more about the possibilities of MySFR? Then contact Schothorst Feed Research, we will be happy to discuss the options with you.
