“The negative impact of mycotoxins on farm animals”  seminar on Thursday 4 November 2021. This seminar will provide recent knowledge on the effect of mycotoxins in poultry, swine and cattle, and their impact on animal immune system and performance.

13:15 – Impact of mycotoxins on poultry performance:
             production losses after dietary exposure to deoxynivalenol at levels below EU recommendation

14:30 – Effect of mycotoxins on pigs:
             
special emphasis on the immune system and the intestine
             Dr. Isabelle Oswald, INRA, France

15:45 –The adverse effects of commonly found levels of Fusarium mycotoxins on the
             Performance, metabolism, and diet digestibility of dairy cattle
             Dr. Antonio Gallo, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Italy

Cost

The costs are € 332,- excl. VAT (or 2 consultancy hours).

Location

The seminar is organised at “De Schakel” in Nijkerk, The Netherlands, combined with a livestream. However, whether the event can take place on location depends on the COVID-19 restrictions at that time. If the restrictions do not allow on-site meetings, the seminar will be organised in an online platform only.
