Feeds and Nutrition (1-5 day course)

The Feeds and Nutrition course is a yearly recurring event. It is designed to quickly inform the participants about the main theoretical and practical aspects of everything involved in feed production. The course is set up in different modules so that, depending on the interest of the participant, a custom program can be made. All modules are offered over the course of one week.

Learning objective

To inform participants about theoretical and practical aspects of feed formulation, production and quality control for different species.

For whom?

The course is a must attend for nutritionists, purchasing managers, quality assurance managers, feed mill managers and others involved in the feed or allied industry. The course covers theoretical and practical aspects of feed formulation, production and quality control for different species. This training is given in English.

Course design and set up

16 different modules are offered from which you can compose your own program. Species specific modules are offered but also species transcending topics. The program takes the background and knowledge level of the individual participants into account by providing modules that cover principles of nutrition, nutrient evaluation topics, applied nutrition and feed formulation. To give an impression of Dutch practice, an excursion is included in the applied nutrition modules (module 9, 12, 15).
