Ruminant research

The ruminant division of Schothorst Feed Research has the objective to support its clients with knowledge in the field of nutrition to positively contribute to production, health and longevity of dairy cows. For this purpose, we have access to a herd of 210 high yielding dairy cows housed in a modern barn under practical conditions and around 150 young cattle that are kept in age-based group housing from 14 days of age. An overview of our research possibilities is described in this section.
